My Story
What I do:
I start the day by checking my emails, and then reviewing my calendar and to-do list. After that, things can go one of two ways. It could follow what I had planned out for the day or it could be something completely different.
How I do it:
Communication is key. If I don’t fully understand what my clients need, I can't help them effectively. Asking questions is important too — I love being able to take in information and organize it.
Why I do it:
I love the fact that accounting is much more than just numbers. Many people think that it's all math, but there's much more to it. Accounting involves everything from organization, number relationships, and supporting clients to achieve their compliance needs.
My life outside of VT Accounting
When I'm not working, I enjoy shuttling my three kids to their various activities, exploring new places, camping, and reading a good book.
